In Game Music
Yeah I know, it does, but I've never enjoyed it.
Plus it gets in the way of hearing my alliance mates.
These days though, I've been using SOMA FM and the Groove Salad channel as a replacement for the in game Eve music.
Coming through the mixer, usually turned down fairly low, it does a great job.
They're not a sponsor, this post is basically just some content.

EVE NT Ship Editor
Or the clown Deimos I've made above.
In many ways a dream setup, if CCP ever let us totally customise the look of our effective avatars.
They will never do this.
Anyway, if you'd like to check it out, here it is.

Dude! Where's Your Stuff?
One that puts your stuff into asset safety, but it can only be accessed after 30 days.
That way it's not gone forever, but it's effectively gone for the short term.
So if you're away from the game for ages, and eventually come back to Eve Online, even if your stuff has gone into asset safety from an abandoned citadel being destroyed, it'll most likely be waiting for you when you eventually login again as the 30 days has probably passed.
Unless of course CCP needs the database room, in that case it's GONE!

While We're On The Subject
Sometimes they're setup poorly, circumstances sometimes change.
Maybe for 1000 fuel blocks, we could rotate them and choose a better orientation?
Is that too much to ask?

Forgotten Right Clicks
The other day one of the alliance members asked a question about the cargo bay.
Could you make it show how full the different cargo bays are?
Some long unused synapses fired up and I remembered this is actually possible.
But is it useful?
Right click on your cargo hold icon, left click on the cargo you want it to display.
It will then show how full that cargo hold is.

Carefully Sharper
It's funny how things go, just recently I was wondering when the next graphics updates for Eve Online were going to emerge from the development excretion tube, and here we are!
"The process of image sharpening is important in most visual media. Film directors, photographers and game texture artists will use it daily to get the desired result. Using it correctly takes patience, practice, and skill, but the result can be a vastly improved image when used appropriately. When used incorrectly, over-sharpening an image will make the result look unnatural or introduce artifacts."
Some details on an increase in sharpness, and a promise about the eventual introduction of DirectX 12.

High Can Go Low Now
Chapter 3 of Invasion finally shows us something interesting, high security systems can become low security, for a limited time.
A Triglavian invasion in the high security space system of Raravoss, in conjunction with whatever shenanigans the third chapter of Invasion brought us, has dropped the security status of that system from 0.6 to an effective value of 0.3.

This was rumoured before Chapter 3 landed in some of the data dumps obtained by enterprising database trawlers.
This seems to have been confirmed by Twitter posts using the hashtag #tweetfleet, and also by a member from my alliance shortly afterwards.
Genuinely interesting stuff, and a hoped for game change I've mentioned more than once, which could spice up the game play, and almost certainly the complaints, for the short to medium term.

Boost the HyperNet!
In a surprising move, CCP have reduced the in game fee for the HyperNet for one week only. The normal free of 5% has been reduced to 0% for the next seven days.
It's assumed this is to try and get the bulk of the player base using the HyperNet again, as after the initial splurge of activity, it has been dropping off steadily over time.
It seems a band-aid at best.
